There are various forms of crime in India, Crimes related to women, gunrunning, drug trafficking, extortion, money laundering, fraud, murder for hire, poaching and human trafficking are some serious problems in country, some other crimes as corruption, burglary, property crimes are also common in India. According to police records, there is high incidence of crimes against the women in country. National Crime Record Bureau had reported that in year 1998, growth rate of crime against women would increase than then rate of population growth by the year 2010. One of earliest known traces and human life evidence in India are Stone Age and rock shelter with their paintings at Bhimbetka rock in Madhya Pradesh.
